OK, Misty, Ginger, and Bandit are not going to work. Those are all of her dog cousin's names. She isn't liking her crate, either!
I think her name is going to end up being Liberty, whether I want it to or not, otherwise, she will be called "no name," since that is what the kids are starting to call her! IF I get a second shih tzu, his name would be Justice. Liberty and Justice! Is that too cute, or what!?

Yes, she is a shih tzu. She is from a breeder in Elizabethtown, PA, whom we learned about from someone who has bought 2 shih tzus at this place and spoke very highly of her. My dh REALLY likes Liberty (Libby). I can't seem to make it stick in my mind (and I was the one who came up with that name). She LOVES to be held, and sometimes her tongue sticks out just a little bit. I do like Lily or Rosie, but I don't know if I can convince my dh!

She is ADORABLE! I love shih tzus. That is what my furbaby is. I think you should name her Bogarta.

I have had two shih tzu and they are great with kids, my first one died in sept. of this year. I had to take time off from work and I am never out be careful they do tend to steal your heart. I have a new puppy that looks alot like your's. His tongue doesn't stick out but my first one did when he would sleep it is so adorable. Don't feed them greenies. they are not 100% digestable. bogart's tounge stuck out all the time when he was a baby. it still does sometimes now when he's sleeping, its too sweet. my shih txu is also great wtih kids. he's the msot loving dog ever known, good luck with your.s

I'm still having trouble with the name thing. I can't seem to remember "Libby" went I am in the midst of the chaos around here (3 kids, puppy, broken glasses, karate, homework, cook dinner... you know what I mean).
What about Lacey, or Emma? Does she look like one of those? I just want something that suits her sweetness.
