Need motivation to walk...

I managed to loose another lb this week even though I didn't walk much last week. I really didn't feel like going having TOM and all. I know walking helps with cramps but I just didn't feel up to it.

I did do a TON of housework and had to have burned atleast another walk or two worth of calories though.

My eating was decent except for the one day I was at my moms a few days ago.

I really gotta stay motivated to get walking this weekend. I know walking and exercise is key so I just gotta do it.
 
Okay - PM me and we'll cheer each other on! I can't seem to get out of the house either! And when I do walk, I feel so good!

Anyone else want to join our walking club?!?!?!?!?
 
I know it can be so hard to find the motivation to exercise but it will help so much in the loss. ::yes:: Not only will you lose weight faster but you'll also find your body becoming more toned as you lose. ::yes:: If it's too warm to go out and walk maybe try the Walk Away the Pounds tapes - I know lots of WISHers have had success with those programs. I avoided exercise as long as possible but I have to say it really does make a difference in your loss and your overall health - so get moving! :hyper:
 
I do most of my walking on the tmill - try to start by 5:15 AM (realize that is way early for you guys out west) 3-4 miles a day and on Saturdays I shoot for 8 miles (outdoors when possible for this one). TammyNC and I often "see" one another while we tmill - we would love for you to join us!

My DD (ohMom) always after me to cross train - so I try to do some strength training too! I love the WATP tapes too - the 4 mile walk does use some weights for that cross training.

Did you every try the site www.about.com Walking Guide - you can go sign up for some training programs - might be just the thing you need. they send you schedules of what you should shoot for each day - and go for the "buddy" - sure makes each accountable to one another!

I'll check back to see if you are up and at em and joining me/us in the mornings.
 

thanks ladies. I will be taking my walk in the morning.

I think I found my new motivator at home. My 10 month old dd decided she was gonna start full on walkin yesterday, today she was walking everywhere. She had been walkin a few steps since May 10th but has really taken off.
