Trip Home (SSR) is scheduled for Feb. 2nd-9th, 2008 in a 2 bedroom.

First, I called MS today to check on our:confused: "welcome package" that was suppose to arrive back in Oct., and was told it will be after the first of the new year before we will receive it. I was like, we received our membership cards, DVC magazine & bumper sticker, and DVC Christmas:santa: card...
Ok, now my questions: I have dinner booked for "Dreams Come True Dinner" at Cinderella's Castleprincess: ....how is it? worth the $$$$? Breakfast at Donald's:donald: Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom....opinions??? 1900 Park Fare Breakfast...no opinions needed for this one.....we LOVE:love: it!!....LOL...followed by the Piratepirate: & Princessprincess: Party that evening!! Liberty Tree Tavern Character Dinner the last night of our trip....opinions???:surfweb:

First, hope you have a wonderful trip!

Next, the only plan you list that I have personal experience with is the meal at Cinderella's Castle--and we did a b'fast, not a dinner...but I thought that experience (w/our four-year-old who's seriously in to all Disney princesses) was worth every penny and then a few more...it's definitely not about the food...the food is ok...even good, but not spectacular. But the atmosphere, "attention," surroundings are fantastic...

You start by lining up for individual pictures w/Cinderella...that was such a huge thrill for our four-year-old...then you go upstairs for the meal, in a "castle dining hall" which is totally cool! Then a bunch of different characters come out, and each one spends time (including picture-taking time) at each table, w/each child...another massive thrill for our four-year-old (and thus for us, her doting parents/grandparent!)...

It was an absolute highlight of our trip this past Labor Day. We'll do it again for sure when we bring her back to WDW (as a five-year-old!) next T-giving.

Have a great time!

Like Dani said above, dinner at the castle totally depends on how into Cinderella the people in your party are.

As for your others...the new Donald breakfast is getting good reviews (at the former Tusker House). It was AWFUL before the move, but it seems that they have really corrected the issues and seems to be good.

LTT--um, this is a big YUK for our family, though I have read other reviews. Check out the review section on Deb's site (allearsnet).

Totally agree with you about 1900 Park Fare...love the breakfast there.

Have a great trip!

We did LTT on our last trip and it was by far our favorite! We had a late seating, which might have helped. There were only 2 other tables dining still, and the characters were a hoot! Goofy was making music, chip and dale were "flying" and "fighting", it was a blast! Our food came out quick, and it was fresh and hot. When we were done, we waited a few minutes for the other family to finish, then we were escorted as a group out to main street (park was closed by then), which was worth it by itself! We were the only ones back there, and only a few people were left on main street.

I wonder if your welcome package has been held up because they needed to wait on the new planner?

Not to hijack the thread... but I got my magazine but no bumper sticker???

I'd really like one. Was it with the magazine???

:confused3

As this is more of a dining topic than DVC Planning, I'm moving this over to the Disney Restaurants board.
