Need major help with valentines day plans

crz4mm2,

I'm still working on that. I check to see if anyone was going to be in town and there really isn't anything concert wise going on.

I choose those two places because she mentioned that she would like to try them sometime, so I figure that when we arrive on 2/11 I will let her decide were we eat for that night.

That was very sweet of you to pick the places she mentioned :flower3:
I just want to remind you that the Top of the World needs reservations, so if you are even considering it, you should go ahead and make them :) (this is the Mom in me speaking :rotfl: ).
Have a wonderful time. Are you counting the days yet?
Cathy

crz4mm2,

The great thing about this is that she knows I've made dinner plans, but she has no idea where and she is going to completely flip when she finds out. We do want to try it at some point, but it will give us something to try when were in Vegas again.

Here is the site for Pinot Brasserie

How did you know that I was counting down until we see each other again :teeth:

I was young and in love once :teeth: :goodvibes ::yes::

How old are you by the way? If you don't mind my asking ;) (DS -whos name is Jason too, is 25!)

crz4mm2,

I'm 32 and Jennifer is 24 (turning 25 on Feb 12 while we are there). The special thing about this up comming trip is that it's our trip. It's only going to be me and her and this time we won't have to take into concideration what the friends might be doing.

I can't wait to see her face when she gets to the room, opens the door and sees the roses and champaign waiting for her.

Jason if I didn't know better, I would swear you've been talking to my DH!! ::yes:: :goodvibes That is EXACTLY something he would do, except instead of champaign, because I don't care for it, he would have a sparkling cider of some sort.
I'm so excited, you would think this is me you're planning this for! :cutie: Keep us posted....PLEASE!

Denise,

It's really amazing what it does to you when you meet that speical person and fall in love. It changes your whole way of thinking and it changes how you believe. Long gone is the mentality of me me me and instead it's what makes her happy makes me happy and that's such an awesome feeling.

I think it's so great that your husband would plan something just like that. Sometimes it's the little things like that that go along way in a relationship.

I also suggest dinner at the stratosphere
but followed with watching cirque de soleil's Zoomanity. (It's at NY NY)

Syrreal,

Thanks for the idea of cirque de soleil's Zoomanity. I think we will hold off on the Stratosphere until our next trip, because this gives her a chance of decided were we are going to eat the first night.

I'm glad you liked the idea :) We saw it when we were there for one of our best friend's wedding in July and everyone (there were about 14 of us who went to the show) loved the show.

Ahhhhh, a Mickey fan too??????????????????????? :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
Me too :) I can't think of a better place to be married than Mickey's place!
I would so adore a renewal at WDW...... Dont' think I'll ever get DH to go for it though.

crz4mm2,

Are you kidding me, I'm a hugh WDW fan and think it would be cool to have a wedding there.

Naw, I wouldn't kid ya! It is my favorite place on earth (but I haven't been EVERYWHERE yet ;) ). I just love that place. Haven't been for almost 2years now and am having severe withdrawl. LOL.

I can't imagine anyplace better to have a wedding than the pavillion :) sigh.

Does your girl like WDW too?/ I sure hope so.

crz4mm2,

It's funny that you mention this, because I just got a huge bonus a work so we might be changing our vacation plans, but aren't sure yet. By the time valentines day weekend arrives, I will have a very nice bonus and my $2500 tax return to work with.

Maybe we will go to Disney istead :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: (yes she does love Disney).

Where does your girl live? I would rather vacation in Disney than Vegas (but I do love Vegas too!). But then, I have been to Vegas twice since my last visit to Disney.

crz4mm2,

St. Paul, MN. Disney is really tempting, because my AP expires on 2/28 and if we went Feb 11-14, I could get one more use out of it before it does expire. Right now we are going to stick with Las Vegas, but give a good look at other vacation destinations.

Yes, I agree Disney would be too tempting then!! I would sure go for it. I think you would be able to get a pretty good deal.

Have fun whatever you decide.

crz4mm2

She seemed excited about doing either one, so there really isn't a feeling either way. She told me that she would think about it and let me know what she would like to do. Since we just did Vegas, I'm actually hoping she says WDW. Heck I would even be willing to pop for Poly or GF if staying at either one of those would make it more romantic.

Also with them getting rid of the 60 day AP rule (thank goodness) I can book for these dates now and still get a good deal.

I have stayed at the Poly before (my first trip actually and BEFORE I knew how special it was!!!) but haven't stayed at GF... would love to stay at either! I think I would try the Poly again..... It is very romantic.
I know you will have a very great time.
