Hi

The family (DH, 2 DDs - both female teens and myself) are landing in Orlando around 11am. By the time we collect the luggage and get our car lunchtime will have come and gone!!

Looking for a good, not too expensive, place to eat on the way from the airport to Saratoga Springs. No fast food please!!

Any suggestions...........Already know about Logan's Roadhouse on 192 and will be going there on Saturday when we go back to the airport to collect more family.

Thanks in advance.

Just on the North side of the airport there are quite a few sit-down choices.

TGIFridays, Bennigan's, Chili's, Hooters, and a few others.
This would be off Semeron Blvd, and a lot closer than anything on 192. After lunch you could hop onto the BeeLine, or cut thru the airport and get on the Greenway.

Last year as hungry as we were, we just waited until we got to WDW to eat. I also bring a light snack on the plane to hold us over.

Isn't there a Chilis *at* the airport?

Yes, there is a Chili's at the airport along with a host of others and a new Food Court, but the question was for places between the airport and WDW, just so happens there is a Chili's off Semeron Blvd.

I once drove to Disney and ate in a place which I beleive the name was JUNGLE JIM's. It was fun. I beleive it was off Route 4!

I second the Earl of Sandwich. Close to SSrR and all the reviews make my mouth water.

Otherwise, there's a ton of things at the Crossroads just down the street from DTD.

Red Lobster, Uno's, Perkins, TGI Fridays, and I think Bahama Breeze or something like that.

We usually take 417 to WDW so there's nothing unless you get off the highway.

When in your situation, we usually hit something at the Crossroads or we get something at the airport on the way to get the luggage and rental car.

Hi

Thanks for all the suggestions............what is the best way to get to the Crossroads from the airport

AND has anyone tried the Earl of Sandwich.

Piece of cake. You'll get off at Highway 535 and make right turn. I forget the exit number. Crossroads is right across the street from one of the Disney Entrances. In fact, that is the exit you'll want to get off for Saratoga Springs.

If you think you'll be pass out starving, stick with the choices by the airport.

Further past Crossroads on 535 is a Steak N Shake we've eaten at before. I've eaten at the Earl of Sandwich before and enjoyed it. The sandwiches are $4.95 each and could be shared by 2 people, unless you eat big meals. Our party of 3 bought 3 different sandwiches and shared. They were all very good.

Thanks for all the suggestions.......

We have TGIFridays, Red Lobster and SteakNShake at home. Looking for something different.

Has anyone eaten at Bahama Breeze or Beaches and Cream?

Earl of Sandwich is sounding interesting.

Thanks again

I'd wait and eat at Earl of Sandwich. We ate there our last trip. DH and DS9 had sandwiches and DS3 had hmmm, don't remember, but I had the (I think it was called Asian or Chinese) chicken salad. DELICIOUS. I can't wait until our next trip there. The servings are huge and the prices are great!

I was wondering just the opposite. What fast food restaurants are at the Orlando airport. We are getting a limo from the airport to the Polynesian and would like to pick up something quick to eat on the way. We are flying in on USAir.
