We leave in the morning for Southern Cal. I need a touring plan in Legoland for a family of 5 (H37, W37, DS7, DS5, DD1). We plan on being there all day on Wednesday (July 22). I've procrastinated and dont' have time to buy any books, do any of you have a plan for me?

We were there last Monday. We got there at opening, and headed for the back of the park and did Indiana Jones first (waited maybe 5-10 min), then all the rides around there. Then moved to the Royal Court area, did the Dragon (twice), Joust horses etc and our longest wait was about a 20 min wait for a table at the Sports themed restaurant with the kids buffet back in the back. After lunch we headed more back up front and my 6 year old drove the cars twice (about a 20 min wait each time) and then we rode the helicopters, and fairy tale boat ride, did a bit of shopping and we were done. It was about 4 when we left (it was our 4th or 5th trip and we were with locals who have season passes so we didn't waste any time getting lost, LOL!).

We went back to our hotel to swim rather than do the water area. I find it impossible to watch my kids (DD6 and DD4) closely without getting soaked myself and the changing facilities are very limited (a couple of very small bathrooms) in that area.

My best advice is head to the back first...there are a few little rides up front that tend to waylay a LOT of people (the safari ride, dinosaur coaster and the sky cruiser) and you can do those later in the day with minimal waits. Indiana Jones had 45 min plus waits by mid day.
