Need Jersey Shore suggestions

We will be spending a week in North Wildwood at the end of July. We will be doing breakfast and lunch in the condo we are renting, but need suggestions for dinners. We like a mix of things.....a night for pizza, seafood, bar food, a nice meal, local dives....a little of everything. We are not sure where to begin. Can anyone make some recommendations for good places to eat?

We can travel any where from Stone Harbor to Cape May.

Pizza you have to eat at Mack's pizza on the boardwalk no pizza tastes better!!!
Then you have the Boat House, Uries, The Wharf (I think it is on Burk Ave)
Anglesea Pub (it is an Irish pub with a mean Chicken Parm dinner)
Flip Flopz Beach Bar & Grill (Haven't been here but my family loves it)
Keenans Irish Pub (gets packed!!)

Sea Shell Ice Cream on Rio Grande BEST ice cream

Cape May has the Ugly Mug Rest.It has good burgers it is in Washington Square mall.
I haven't been to Stone Harbor in years so don't know anywhere there.

Have a great time.I LOVE Wildwood. Spent 24 summers down there Parents moved to OC MD. But I still go down to Wildwood at least 2 x's a summer (just for macks pizza)

Thanks so much! I printed the list and will look these places up. DH wanted me to ask about some local golf courses.....names, area, etc.

It's a little further but our favorite place at the shore is Sylvesters in Avalon. Their website includes a review - http://www.sylvesters-avalon.com/new_page_3.htm. For desert our favorite is Springer's Ice Cream in Stone Harbor. The line is always long but we can't resist going there.

Cape May has a great restaurant/bar called Jackson Mountain. Yummy food, great drinks. My in-laws live in Cape May, so that is always a "must" for us.

Another nice restaurant in Cape May is Godmothers. They have the BEST pasta I've ever had.

I agree with Mack's for Pizza. I go down to Wildwood at least 3 times a year for day trips. There are several good seafood restaurants but my DH is not a seafood person so I rarely go to them but I have heard Uries is good. We have to eat at Groff's Restaurant at least once a summer, it is just off the boardwalk. I know people have their favorites but we also love Lauras for fudge and salt water taffy. There is a police/rest room building by Mariner's Pier that has tons of information and coupons for most places down there. The people who are in there are also very helpful. There is a great seafood place in Cape May that my aunt eats at all the time, it's called the Lobster House. It's just over the bridge at the marina. For a fun breakfast we go to the DOO WOP diner on the boardwalk. It's basic breakfast food but a fun place to eat at. I am actually going to be there in a little over a week so I will have my memory refreshed by then.

Wildwood rocks! We went in 2006 and 2008.

You can look up restaurants on the Wildwoods web site. You can also have them send you a vacation kit with maps and a book of advertisements of local attractions, including restaurants.

Urie's is very nice.

The Ravioli House has awesome home made pasta and they have a shop next door where you can buy fresh pasta and all kinds of Italian bakery items - the apple pie is the best.

The Pink Cadillac Diner is in the center of town a block or two from the boardwalk and very cute.

On the boardwalk go to the Doo Wop Diner - they have incredible shakes - we had the apple pie one and it really tasted like apple pie.

There was a restaurant closer to Wildwood Crest that had specials all week. Of course I can't remember the name of it (Little Italy?) but it was our best meal last year. It was a tall building with a clock tower on it that was a block from the beach, not on the boardwalk. We waited about an hour but it was worth it.

I'm assuming that "Mack's" pizza is Mac & Mancos? Because it's the best pizza in the world. If you return without eating any, it'll be a shame

We always have to do a Hot Spot on the boardwalk when we are in Wildwood, it is tradition. They have everything.

We also like Duffer's (or Duffy's??) for ice cream. They have food too and a little arcade and mini golf. Parking is a little hectic there so sometimes lunch is a little better then dinner.

Have a great time!! (Make sure you bring a boogie board or rent one when you are there, I love boogie boarding in Wildwood with the nice big waves!!)

I'm sitting here eating a Mack's pizza (Yes Wildwood is just macks)My cousin brought it to me yesterday. But on the Box is shows Mac and Manco' s and one in Alantic city too.So I think they are all the same just different towns.

Little Italy in Wildwood has great Italian food. They also have early bird specials from 4-5 PM.
