Need Jeep Grand Cherokee info, ASAP, please!

I am considering renting a Jeep GC for WDW at Christmas. The Dollar website indicates that it has 34 cu.ft. of luggage space and a minivan has 23.7 cu.ft.

Does the GC really have more luggage space than a minivan (with the seat up)? According to the numbers, it should have almost 50% more luggage space.

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee, but I never owned a mini van so it's hard to compare. I would say that because the GC does not have a third seat in the back that yes, it's possible there is more luggage space.

We have owned 3 JGCs over the years and my current truck is a Laredo. My parents own a minivan. The space difference is like comparing apples and oranges. If you're looking to seat more than 5 people, then you'd have to go with the van. If this is your only option, you can put luggage either in between the two middle seats or to the side of the double middle seat. We've been known to stow a cooler and other things like this when we go with my parents to the beach for the day.

Another thing to consider is that in a minivan, the storage space bows up and in, so the storage space is wider at the bottom than at the top nearest the seat back.

If you're looking for some storage space and have 5 or less people, you won't go wrong with the jeep.
