Need Input w/Kim Possible Costume

OK, I've decided to be KP for Halloween b/c it's easy, I have most of the stuff (cheap) and it's something my kindergarten students can relate to w/o me having to get super dressed up in a costume. I have the KP outfit (black belly shirt, flesh colored leotard underneath b/c we can't show our belly in school, army green cargo type pants and black boots) but need some help w/the hair.

If I get the Ariel wig from TDS and trim it to a bit past shoulder length, will that look close enough to Kim Possible's hair?

Thoughts? Other ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

You might find a less expensive wig looking at Target once their costumes come out, althought Ariel is probably the best match for color.

At WalMart I found some toys that are good communicators and such for the utility belt, or if you can find someone who has the Happy Meal communicator toy from last year that would be good. That is why my DD used. You could also take a hair dryer and make it into a grappling hook thing if you have a diffuser attachment. Maybe one at a thrift store so you don't trash your own?

Yes, I could see how that would be confusing and really twisted. I am Daxx's wife ... and I'm using his screen name here at Disboards b/c, for some reason, Disboards won't let me use my the screen name I registered under ... and thus I am forced to use his. And, it won't let me re-register under my email b/c I used for my original screen name.

So, don't worry -- I am a female kindergarten teacher who wants to be KP. Gosh -- the thought of a male Kdg. teacher dressing up as KP is definitely the scariest Halloween story I've heard!!!!

Sorry to confuse -- but, hey -- at least you got a good chuckle out of it!!!!

I had the same problem. Why not open a hotmail.com account. It's free!

By the way, the Disney Store has KP "costumes" (if you can call them that). They look pretty cheap.

Yeah, I saw the KP costumes at TDS ... and since the hair is part of the mask (and not nice looking), I decided against b/c I don't want to wear a mask in school. The wig will prob. freak them out enough!!!! Hahahaha!!!!!

My daughter is going to be KP for Halloween. I thought the Disney store costume looked sad with the foam hair. I found a great KP costume at our party supply place. It is the pants, black shirt not the cheerleader costume. I was wondering what to do about hair too. I was thinking about using a spray to make it red. Thought about going to a beauty supply and trying to see if they have anything. I think the Ariel wig is a good idea too. Just don't know if I can keep the wig on a 6 year old.

My DD 5 was KP last year. We did the same thing black shirt, thepants the whole thing. We did buy the Ariel wig and trim it and it worked perefctly! You just have to part it a little different then how it is styled and it does the poof and everything. have fun!

DS9 - Ron Stoppable
DD7mos - Rufus!!

Ok, the older kids want her to be that and we have to try to convince Grandma to make a naked mole rat costume! Anybody got a pattern?

DH says he'll be Drakken and I could be Shego. Too funny!

When my Dd was Kim a teenager friend of the family who was walking with us agreedto be Ron. He had the black shirt and pants and he and Dd both had black gloves. He also got the temp. hair color spray and made his black hair blond. It was soo cool
