I may have helped her then. There was an elderly woman in a wheelchair that I helped get on the bus back to the ship from Epcot. Sorry to hear about this.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope that he found peace by spending his finally days on the cruise. I know I'd want to go out that way.

He was happy he had the chance to experience Disney one last time. I never knew anyone who loved Disney like he did.

We were, as some would say, "pen pals". Met only once or twice because we lived 3 hours apart --him being sick he wouldn't travel much and I have no car--but thanks to FB we were talking many times a week (when it wasn't every single day LOL). I considered him a good friend.

Good! Very quiet. He and his friend sat quietly on their loungers. I do recall another older gentleman who used a cane approached and tried to sit down on the lounger saved for his friend and your friend said "excuse me, Sir, this chair is taken" and the man with the cane left our immediate area. I remember thinking "that guy appears to be going through an illness and is probably weak, hence the wheelchair". Allow me to be frank, even though he appeared to be ill, I would never have guessed he was so close to passing away. That didn't enter my mind at all.

He was very sick... but so positive. He had a wonderful attitude and he fought hard.
