Need info on WebCertificate/card!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but since the search function is disabled, I can't find it! I've never gotten a Webcert. before, and I would like to get it in the form of the card, using my Mypoints. How long does it take to sign up with Webcert. and get the card back? I think I may have waited too late, because we leave in 3 weeks, and I wanted the card for this trip. If so, any other suggestions, or do I just need to use it on a later trip? Thanks!

I think when I ordered mine over the phone, it only took a week to receive. I would just call 800-511-1781 to order it for $6.95 (one-time fee) - they should be able to tell you how soon it will ship.

To get the plastic card, I believe you have to pay $6.95. I think I got mine in a couple weeks. I believe you also have to have a certain webcertificate balance to get the card. You might want to go to their site at www.webcertificate.com as I'm sure that will have all the answers as well.

So how does the webcert work with mypoints? Do you keep using the same webcert account number every time you want to redeem your points for a webcert or do you get a different account each time?

Yes, they send you a code. You go into your Webcertificate account and enter that code in and your cash will be deposited into your account. Some places online won't accept Webcertificates (such as PayPal) for payment however.
I was able to get my plastic card free when FreeRide had their last good payout in 2001, so mine was free.

I've been speaking with Webcertificates all week to get this service up and running. They have been great to deal with.
