Need info on water parks

I have park hopper plus tickets and would like to try out one of the Disney water parks.

My kids are 8 and 10. Neither child is very daring. A moderate water slide is about the most they would try. Which water park would be better for us? What do they have for children this age?

My son is 8 and a loves Typhoon Lagoon. I believe the faster slides are at Blizzard Beach. Being from New England, I really am not too thrilled with the theme of snow...especially today. Just be careful of the wave pool,,,, can be a little wild.

Both water parks are good!
Typhoon Lagoon has moderate water slide and so does Blizzard Beach. Typhoon Lagoon has an awsome wave pool while blizzard beach has a section just for pre-teens. It has slides , tube slides, a swing that takes you down from this house type thing and straight into the water(really fun, not really scary but you have to be under 5 feet) and ice bergs over the water you can climb on!
I think Blizzard Beach might be better for you. But I coul be wrong.

My 11 year old sons prefers TL. The wave pool is better than at BB. At least that is what we think. At BB the wave pool is continuously going but at TL it stops for a few minutes and you are able to enjoy the water and rest before the next wave. Also at TL you can snorkle through a pool with little sharks. TL is more tamer than BB. Both parks do have the "lazy river" where you just float around the whole park. My favorite.

my kids 6, 8 & 9 like TL better. Both are fun. But check your schedlule , we're going in may and TL and BB are both only open 5 days a week! So depending on what day you have available, you might not have a choice.
