Can someone explain to me what Photopass is and how much it is? Planning our first trip in may and need all the info I can get. Thanks!!

I just placed an order with photopass from home, pictures of our trip a couple of weeks ago. Disney has photographers in the parks that will take professional pictures of you and your party, and give you a photopass card. You use this same card every time one of these photographers takes your card. We had pictures taken on Main Street in the MK, at night in front of Spaceship Earth at Epcot, some character ones (Buzz, Donald Duck, etc.), in front of Rock n Roller coaster, etc.

The pictures aren't cheap; I order 5 x 7's and they were $12.95 each, but there was a promotion going on and I got 25% off my order. Just another cost of "doing" vacation! :donald:

Photopass is great. Since it was just me and DH, we didn't have any photos of us together on my camera. So, we got one good one and MK and one good one at Epcot. I too, ordered online. Does anyone know if the pics are cheaper at the park? You can get them there too, you know.

Nope, they are the same in the park before you leave as they are later online. The main benefit is you can decide later, when you get home if you really want them after seeing your own photos. I love it.

Photopass is basically that the photos they've always taken in the parks are put on a card for you and then you can access them either in the park before you leave WDW (like you always have been able to do) or you can buy them in the comfort of your own home online.

And now, in December, they also added the Photopass CD that you can buy for $99. They will put all your photos (up to 300) on the CD and then you can go home and print them at home, at Walmart or wherever you want. It's a great deal if you have A LOT of photos with Photopass. You would have to have them put the photos on the CD on your last day and only at GF, Epcot and Toontown. It would be too late if you forgot and got home. It has to be done before you leave WDW.
