Has anyone traveled I-95 lately? I would like to know the gas prices from Virginia to Florida. We are coming from the eastern shore of MD the week of June 3. I know prices are going up Mem. Day weekend. I hope they drop a little before next weekend.

In my hometown right now, we are around $1.55/gal/reg. Can I figure about the same $ all the way south?

When we traveled to FL in March 2000, I believe gas was a little cheaper in NC, SC, and GA. Prices shot up again once we hit FL.

Thanks

go to www.usastar.com then link to I-95 information site. once there they have an up to date gas price list for the entire I-95 north to south .

I live in Brunswick GA (exits 29-38 on I-95) and our gas prices have been about the same for the last week or so. Racetrac and Pilot are charging $1.44 per gallon and "name brand" gas (Chevron, BP, Exxon, etc) is running about $0.08-$0.10 more. Gas is cheaper in Southeast GA. The price will be higher once you cross the GA-FL border.

Gosh! Can I live where you live??? I live in the panhandle of Texas and we pay $1.70 for unleaded. Back home in ND they're paying close to $1.90 a gallon. :earseek: We're driving to Disneyland and I've heard that the prices in CA are around $2.00 +!!

Don't know if this helps or not, but gas on I-75 is about $1.75. We were in Panama City Beach last week and it was about that there too.
