Hello there! We are planning on taking our family back to Disney in May 2014. We were going with my sisters family (4 of them), my mother-in-law, and my family (5 of us). My mother-in-law just informed us she doesn't think she can free up the $$ to go next year. So that means I need to change resorts. We were going to stay at POP again and do what we did the last time - my mother-in-law and my daughter in one room and my husband, myself, and our 2 boys in another room. Now since we need 5 in one room, we have to go elsewhere.

So we got a quote for POR and I know a lot about that resort. But I know All-Star Music has family suites too. Yet I know nothing about the resort. Looking for info, opinions, fun facts about Music. Three very important things to us: How is the bus service? How are the pools/which one is best? (We love the dance parties poolside at POP) How is the restaurant/cafeteria onsite? Will only use for breakfast probably and late night snacking.

Thank you for any info!!!!!!!!

For one, the suites at ASMU are way more expensive then POR. But I'm sure you know that if you've priced them out. The food courts are both good. The only vote ASMU gets over POR is busing. We had much better buses at ASMU then POR. Actually in 15 years if trips.....all resorts get better marks then POR for buses. We actually started driving to the parks which we always said we would never do because the 4 bus stop thing got really old, when buses would arrive full. The all stars only share at off times.

My famiy prefers Music to POP. We can't put our finger on why. Music also has the activities and movies by the pool. If you do share buses, you would be impacted by one stop, not multiply stops like PO. There may be a stop to drop off people at Sports or pick people up at Movies. Mutliple stops are not a big deal for my family. I make it a game. Is the bus turning left, directly to the park, or turning right, to Movies.

There is an All-Star Music info thread on this board with tons of info.
