Need info on DCL transfers

We booked them on the return of the May repo. Our flight barely meets disney's cutoff on the earliest you should try and fly. Do you all have to wait until everyone getting off the ship with transfers is ready, or are there several buses lined up to go? I can just picture me sweating it out to get to the airport while someone with a 6pm flight is taking their own sweet time to saunter off the ship.

We disembarked on 3/10 from the Wonder. We left the ship at 7:45, retrieved our luggage, and boarded the bus by 8:10. There were many buses lined up to leave. We were at the airport shortly after 9 AM for a 12:05 Flight. No problem. We did, however, flag a porter at the terminal to help us with the luggage to the bus. She was wonderful and we went through customs easily. I never felt as though there was a crowd or a delay at any step in the process.
