Need info from Vero Beach Regulars

Hi there.

We are going to be there next October-our first trip home on pts.

Checking in Oct 30 for 9 nights. We are pretty excited to be there for Halloween but were wondering when the Christmas decorations usually go up? Do you think they will be up before 11/9. If any of you know the usual time they go up, please let me know.

Also, when we were there in October of this year we stayed in 2216-Inn Ocean View. One of the CM's said that if we had stayed on the 3rd or 4th floor (2316 or 2416)(I think) than we would have had an extra bed-2Q' plus a pull out sofa. Has anyone ever stayed in either of these rooms?

There was room for a pull out sofa in our room but they did not have one. In the past they had a chair and lamp in the area near the door for reading but that had been removed-anyone know why?

I can't say for sure on the Christmas decorations but I think it's doubtful they would be up in early November.

Interesting question about the daybed. Not all rooms on the higher floors have that....must be the ones in that section of the Inn. The building is shaped so strangely that all the rooms are slightly different.

I've stayed in one of the Inn rooms that had 2 queens and a pullout sofa but I can't remember the room numbers. As Pam says the shape of the exterior of the building means those rooms have an extra long corridor (maybe 20 feet x8 feet wide) the allows enough room for a pull out by the kitchenette area. My eldest was over the moon when we found out we had this room as it meant she didn't have to sleep with her sister ( and so was everyone else grateful of the lack of arguments )
