We are new DVC members and are thinking about a summer trip to Vero Beach. I have a 6year old princess: , 4year old :earboy2: and 2 year old princess: Are there activities for the kids? how about babysitting or activities for the grownups? is it necessary to have a car on site? Any advice would be appreciated! Happy New Year to all!

I think little kids love Vero. They have lots of activities for young kids. Some activities are free and some have a fee like decorate an umbrella, make dirt pudding, etc. There is also an unbirthday party. My young nieces had a great time and probably could do as many as 2 activities a day. They also played some games poolside and had water balloon tosses on the croquet lawn. The pirate ship at the pool area (has a kiddie slide) also kept their attention for a long period of time. There are bikes and miniture golf also. If you want a more laid back trip this is the place. The waves are a little rougher at Vero so they would definitely need an adult nearby when in the ocean but it is a great place to hunt for shells. I believe there is also a character breakfast with Goofy and Max on Saturdays. I don't know about babysitting.
