Need info about Disney's Teacher of the Year!!

After reading Kara's post about teachers, I got to thinking how absolutely WONDERFUL my DD's 1st grade teacher is!! She is kind, compassionate, NEVER says anything negative regardless of student's behavior (always focuses on the positive) and my DD is LOVING school.

It truly is a Disney story......how does one nominate a teacher for Disney's Teacher of the Year????

I'm not sure how it is done. 2 teachers from our local high school won this award though. I saw their photo in the newspaper a few weeks ago. You may find some info on google.

My husband was nominated this year!! He did not make it to the final round but I was very proud of him anyway!!!! I could ask him for the details if you would like..let me know if you still need some info.
