Hi!
DH and I are blessed with the time to go to Disney from Dec 4-13 this year.
We went last year and had a great time in "Sharing in the Joy."
Since we are going for an extended period in December this removes time that I usually use for Christmas preparations back home in Omaha.
Last year we ended up sending Christmas cards, wrapping gifts and if needed mailing them to out of town relatives plus putting up the Christmas decorations the weekend prior to our depature for Disney. DH and I ended up a little stressed out. I should of done a lot more planning so that this could of been prevented. LOL.
This year I intend to have my Christmas shopping done by Halloween. Christmas cards will be bought, put together and addressed by Halloween as well.
November is really out for me as far as planning goes-this is my busiest time of the year at work and I work long long hours.
My biggest dilemma is whether or not to decorate our house with Christmas decorations. Last year I did but this year I'm rethinking things. Disney's decorations were so beautiful. I'm thinking we could put up a small tree here in Omaha to make things jolly then enjoy all of the wonderful decorations at Disney.
What do others do for their Christmas decorations for at home? Any other hints/ideas on pre-planning would be much aprreciated.
Sorry for such a long post.
Renee
