Made a surprise ressie for dw and dd1 for gf spa. Dd2 is 4 so technically she could go and would want to but wouldn't be relaxing for dw

That being said trying to think of fun stuff to do alone with her while they are gone. First thought was to go to mk and just do all her rides. She LOVES rides! Thought of bbb and pirates league but have done both and thought dw would want to be there for that anyway. May do pl anyway so dd can get make up and nails but well see

Any other ideas for what to do

Staying at BLT if that makes a difference

I'd probably go with Rides idea.

Another suggestion- Princess Tea Party at GF

I say both of you become pirates at the pirates league together. It would be such a fun bonding experience, and if your dd is anything like.mine I'm sure she will get a huge kick out of seeing daddy as a pirate

The Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios is a great place to eat, and if she like rides then Aerosmith' rock n roller coaster is amazing! I like it better than space mountain.

Go to the MK and tell her she's in charge and gets to decide what you do for the afternoon!

Many 4 year olds would think it was a special treat to have Daddy all to herself regardless of what they did. She might enjoy pool time with you, playing at the resort, getting a snack and talking, maybe going shopping and getting to buy one thing she wants. Going to MK and letting her choose the rides also is a great idea. As long as she has your attention and feels like she's doing something special with you, she'll be happy. You are a good husband and daddy to plan something special for everyone. Enjoy it!

Thanks for all the ideas

Will probably take her to MK and then shopping

I vote Pirates League for you and DD. I also vote you Husband of the YEAR!

Lol thanks. Have a good wife and great little girls so let them enjoy

On the fence with pirates. Girls Loved it last year. Would feel bad that dw would miss seeing it though.

I would take her on a special daddy date. We have friends that have done that regularly since their girls were little. They learn that they are special and valuable and learn how a boy should treat them. Let her get all dressed up and choose some where she would consider "fancy" (no character meals) and treat her like the princess she is! I would consider switching off later in the trip and doing the same thing with your older DD and let the little one and mom maybe do a manicure or some other girly thing!

Don't forget to take photopass pictures of the two of you to capture your time together! I vote go to MK and ride some rides, buy her a Mickey Balloon and some icecream. :-) No matter what you do, you will be in WDW so it will be magical for sure! pixiedust:

I think your daughter would probably have a ball just doing rides with you, but if you're looking for something different, maybe you could take the boat over to Fort Wilderness. We took our kids to the ranch there on our last trip and they really enjoyed it - it was a great change of pace, too. They offer horseback riding and carriage rides, as well, so that might be a neat option for something special for you and your daughter. I think that no matter what you do, though, it's going to be really wonderful and memorable for your little girl.

Also, way to go with being such a thoughtful husband and dad!!! Those are some lucky girls you've got!

Thx. We are doing the horse/sleigh ride at ft wilderness already but like the idea of horseback riding. She would get a kick out of that. Thx for idea

Definite going to do some rides as she will have a blast. Will try to work in some other suggestions as well

You have to be 9 to ride horses at Ft Wilderness, but keep it in mind for the future!
