We will be cruising with a large group of friends and family, and I wanted to do something a little special for the kids in our party (there will be 11 children ranging in age from 17-3). I'm not looking to do anything too expensive, just a little something special each day. I've already bought cute little plastic pirate compasses, but need some more ideas (especially for the older kids) Stickers are only interesting to the little ones! Any suggestions would be very welcome! We don't sail until August so I've got 5 months to shop!

I try and do things that would work for everyone, even though they might not like it. I've done suckers (pirates for the boys, tiaras for the girls), bubbles, poppers (though you can't bring those if you're flying since they're flammable).

I always do this for my niece and nephew and told them it was from the characters but they are getting older and don't believe it anymore. Glow bracelets or necklaces are nice. Maybe a pack of cards. Also the wash clothes that are packed into tiny wrappers. Small flashlights, a small notebook and pen. I always bring a favorite candy or two to fill in. You might want to get white pillowcases and give them to guest services with some markers and they will be returned the last night with character autographs.

Check the Dollar Store and Target for small photo albums that you can put your own graphics into the covers. Glow sticks/bracelets are great even for older kids (OK, I love them too, so the grownups may steal them!), Disney temporary tatoos, candy, bags of crackers/munchies for the movies...

I would honestly stay away from stickers period. Some kids have no concept of not putting them on doors, furniture, walls, windows etc....
Glow sticks, candy, pirate eye patches, bandannas, bouncy balls, inflatable beach balls. Check out www.orientaltrading.com

Pirate eye patches, movie snacks (rainsinettes, goobers, twizzlers, etc)...and like mentioned, visit a dollar store for more idea's.

Theater candy for the movies :3dglasses
Lanyards with plastic pouches to keep their KTTW cards in.

A disposable camera for each? I have some hilarious photos taken by my kids - esp when they were 4 or 5 years old! Maybe only one or two turned out "right", but they were great, and the kids loved having a "real" camera where it was their choice as to what to photograph.

This might work well for the older kids, too, who are used to using their phones to take pictures, since they may not want to risk turning on the phone and accidentally picking up some voicemails or calls that could cost a lot!

"Post-Its" for leaving each other notes on the door
Dollars for tipping room service
A card for the video arcade for the big kids
Flip flops
Lip balm
Small packets of drink mix for adding to water bottles
Little bags of sprinkles to put on their soft serve ice cream or to dip the Mickey Bar in
Small flashlights
For teenage girls - samples of perfume or cosmetics

Those are my ideas:)

Small beach toys-molds/shovels for smaller kids, frisbee or water balls for older ones, inflatable balls (or even floats) and can find Disney themed in dollar store

Snacks, gum (not available onboard), candy, magazine/coloring book/Disney story book, hat or visor, autograph book

Our last cruise kids were 12, 10, 4. Things they really enjoyed getting were magnets for the cabin doors, and candy/snacks. They thought the pirate stuff was cool but didn't end up using it.

Wow, lots of fantastic ideas! I ran out and got glow sticks, and theater candy!! Now to search for those other items! Thanks for the ideas! Keep em coming. My DSil and I were talking about it and we've decided to split up the goodie giving and give goodies each night at dinner! Oh and another family just booked so my kid list is now 12 - a nice round dozen!

If you have a dollar tree near you, they have TONS of Disney stuff right now. I am stocking up!! :)

Michael's has some really cute, inexpensive Disney diaries in our town--good for older kids to use as journals, and for younger kids to use as autograph books. They also have other Disney goodies there.
