Need ideas for christening invitations

We plan on finally having Katla Katrin (born in april) christened next month. Although she got her name at birth, she has not been christened yet due to various reasons, such as us moving overseas, building a new home etc.

I would like to send out some nice homemade invitations, but I can´t seem to come up with any ideas I really like (must be because I´m working on the christmas cards at the moment, and I can´t seem to get past them).

Do you guys have any ideas for really sweet invitations? Preferably really girly, without being too "babyish" (in other words, preferably no bottles, pacifiers etc.)

I´d love something with butterflies or hearts or something like that.

I made our invitations. Our children were 5 and 6 when they were baptized because they were adopted 6-weeks prior to the Christening. I printed these with a monotype corsiva font on paper I bought in Staples that had an angel and cloud scene on them. This is what they said:

A child is a gift from God, and
Baptism is God’s gift-wrapping.

Everything was centered on the paper.

I hope this helps! When they received communion, I bought card stock paper, printed their Communion photo on the front and the invitation inside.

I have seen Christening invites in the shape of a Christening gown, kind of lacy-looking with some cutouts. They were very cute!!!
