Need ideas for a Little Einsteins birthday party

my son turns 5 in feb and I'm starting to think about what to do for a party. it will be the first real not-just-family party we are doing, and since he's my eldest, I'm feeling a little out of my depth. I'm considering a fire station party, but am brainstorming some other ideas. He LOVES the little einsteins. any ideas on maybe having a party just at home with that as a theme?

I asked almost this exact question about a month ago. My DD will also be 5 in Feb and wants a LE party.

I know we will:
-have the rocket cake from the PP's link
-play Pin the Baton on Leo (a request from my DD)
-have LE coloring books made from the printables on the disney website

We will probably:

-have rocket races. I found this idea on Birthdaypartyideas.com.
The kids hold hula hoops as a pretend rocket. You set out weighted white ballons with different length strings as the clouds and the kids run through/around the clouds.

-do a large painted mural. I'll set out a long banner of butcher paper with paints. I'll put pictures of famous artwork around as inspiration and ask the kids to paint a Happy Birthday mural for my DD.

-play musical chairs using music from the LE CD.

I'd like to do something related to instruments too, but I haven't figured that one out yet.

What about a pirate of the caribbean theme? I am 18 and I would love that! You could have them wear eye patches and pirate hats and give them the little rubber swords. Fill goodie bags with choclate gold coins, and rings and treasure. I think they have a potc cake at the grocery stores, and potc themed plates and such at the party stores. The kids could play pin the wooden leg on the pirate.

There is a Rocket bank on clearance at disneyshopping.com right now - I think that would make a cute cake topper!

You could also find some art postcards/posters to decorate with either online or at an art museum shop.

Not party related, but I heard that all new episodes are coming next week!!!

check ebay for little einsteins party supplies- there's some homemade items out there. I was looking earlier this month for that and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse- incidentally one site I went to said MMCH party supplies would be available in January
