any ideas for things she might enjoy that would help make her day special..

shes already vetoed hte princess meals, not sure we can get her up early enough for the opening ceremonies. and would love to hear your ideas for hte day.

How about a dinner at coral reef and ask for the diver to hold a happy birthday Secret sign :yay:

California Grill.... try to make reservation for about 8:15 then you will be able to see the fireworks from the Contemporary.... or even better try a WISHES Cruise... we have done both the Illuminations and Wishes cruises... we prefer the WISHES with the music piped in..... you can order a cake and they will decorate the boat for you for a birthday cruise..... would be tons of fun!!!

How about a special behind the scenes tour? I think Epcot has a Behind the Living Seas tour that let's you get up close with the dolphins. You don't get to swim with them, but I bet you can learn a few "tricks." If I was 16, heck even now this would be a never forget experience.

For some reason, I thought I remembered reading this was about 3 hours long.

I'm sure it's pricey, but it beats throwing an MTV style "Sweet Sixteen" bash:dance3:

ok let me see.. no cruises arean option, as dw is deathly afraid of boats and wont even take the ferry to mk..lol

not sure about the behind the scenes stuff, really isnt dd's cup of tea, she prefers to not know how things work,,lol

altho the dolphin thing sounds pretty cool.. may have to check that one out

we are looking into coral reef as well. just havent had a chance to check it out yet. gees.. picky picky...

and you just met me? :confused3 seriously, you can get the diver to hold up a sign for her, I am thinking of asking M to marry me again ;)

How about Discovery Cove on her birthday, excellent park and you can swim with the dolphins and spend the whole day there! Expensive, but so worth it and as someone else has said cheaper than a MTV Sweet 16 Party :thumbsup2

Besides doing an Illuminations Celebration Cruise on my DD's 13th b-day last August...she also got a manicure at the salon at the Beach Club.
