Does anyone have a code or recommendation for a nice hotel (3* or higher) for Feb. 20-22, 2008. My daughter is competing in a cheerleading competition on the 23rd and the gym is staying at the Nick Hotel Feb 22-24. We can add the days at the Nick but considering the price for a definite 3* star hotel doesn't appeal to me. I would rather stay somewhere less expensive than $169/night.

Thanks in advance!!

That's the end of President's Week. You might save a little somewhere else in Lake Buena Vista or Kissimmee, but probably you won't save a lot. I'd probably just pay the few extra dollars and stay put, so that I didn't have to move in the middle of my trip.

Hotelmartusa.com is showing Comfort Suites Main Gate East for $73 for your dates. I have used hotelmart several times with no problems. My mom and sister stayed at this hotel and really liked it. They have a deluxe continental breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, pasteries, bagels, make your own waffles station... The pool was also warm and fun.

You're definitely better off staying at the Nick Hotel. Being that it is a holiday weekend you won't find a much better deal. Although I'm sure the Maingate East is nice, it's a little out of the way of most Disney attractions. The Nick Hotel is much more centrally located and you can make a vacation out of staying there. You don't only get a room, it's a suite with a tv in the bedroom along with a flat screen in the living area. You also get the shows they perform nightly and the waterpark pool area. It's definitely a fun hotel and friendly atmosphere. I recommend sticking at the Nick.
