Need hotel near WWoS

We've always stayed on-site, so I have no idea..

A co-worker is going down Jan 30- Feb 3 for her daughters cheerleader thing...She doesn't care where she stays, but I want to help her find somewhere near WWoS...

Any suggestions? I told her the Radisson Resort Pkwy...but am open to your knowledge!

the Pop Century is the closest - off site - probably something in Kissimmee - how far away is this trip planned - Fairfield is building something on the other side of PC and it should be opened in 2004 or 5?

the Holiday Inn-Nikki Bird Resort - Maingate should be pretty close
