We are headed to Disney this coming up Friday!! We are driving down from Mississippi, taking i-10 from Louisiana and all the way over. We want to drive half way Friday night, and want to get a nice hotel around the Quincy/Tallahassee area. PLEASE does anyone have an ideas? We want to stay under $100, and get 3 beds.

Also, once we get there I've booked the Palisades Resort for our stay for 6 nights. Anyone stayed there? Thoughts??

Cabot Lodge in Tallahassee. It's on Monroe St., just south of I-10. They have a free cocktail hour with drinks, soda for the kids, popcorn and snacks, etc. Also, a free (pretty good) continental breakfast. When I was in school in Tallahassee, this is the only place my mom would stay once she found it! It's also right across the street from Cracker Barrel, clean, a bit secluded from the road, has a nice pool, etc. Hope that helps!

I agree with pp...but do stay in Tallahassee do not stay in Quincy...I would get off at the Thomasville rd exit and pick a hotel there,it is the exit after the Monroe st exit.

Agree with the above, stay in Tallahassee on Monroe St. The Cabot Lodge is where we would send our relatives too.

When I go up to Tallahassee, I usually stay in the Comfort Suites on Apalachee Pkwy. It is nice, clean and reasonably priced. If you are looking for something a bit nicer, the Doubletree near the capital is very nice but a bit pricey.
