Need hotel for first night close to Disney?

We are driving in and expect to get in around 8-9 PM. Looking for somewhere to stay just for the night until we check into BC at WDW. Any recommendations? We are wondering if we should get something close to DTD so we can grab a bite and maybe walk around a bit or if we should get something as close to BC as possible since we will be going there early to get our passes the next morning. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista last July for 1 night prior to our check in at the Beach Club and found it to suit our needs perfectly. I am notably a hotel snob amongst friends, but Hampton Inns consistently meet my expectations.

They had 2 Queen size beds and a hot b-fast in the morning complete with Mickey waffles which were a big hit with our daughter.

The beds were comfortable, check in was easy and there was plenty of water pressure. Parking was convenient and it is located very very close to DTD. We had an easy time getting to the Beach Club in the morning and even made MK rope drop.
