We live in the Lehigh Valley and since our flight leaves at 7am, we need to be at the airport by 5am. We have decided to drive down the night before and stay at a hotel close by.

I need a decent hotel close to the airport, free or decent priced parking and a shuttle service to and from airport.

Orginally FIL was going to drive us there and drive our car back to his home, then pick us up...not sure why that is not happening now, but no matter.

Anyone have reccomendations? DH was going to have us stay at one hotel, it would have been $200 for the 1 night and parking while we are in WDW. Is that reasonable?

Starann,

What I have done is book a hotel on Priceline.com "Name Your Own Price." I have gotten the Sheraton Four Points for about $65. The parking would have been an additional $12 a day. So, I parked at Winner Airport Parking for about $7 a day. There is a coupon here http://www.longtermparking.com/COUPONS/cpwinnerphl2.htm

I used biddingfortravel.com for bidding advice before I bid. I have used "Name Your Own Price" several times for hotels near PHL and near MCO and I have always had a great experience.
I have also gotten the Renaissance for $75 on Priceline and that included 8 days of parking and had an airport shuttle.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

The Philadelphia Airport Marriott is a very nice property that is the only hotel located actually AT the airport--connected to the terminals via interior walkway.

I believe they have packages that include parking--it is worth checking the Marriott website and looked under packages, or call the hotel directly. The hotel parking is located in the same garage used for close-in airport parking. So, the nice thing there is that once you park you car and check into the hotel, you are done with it and don't have to worry about getting to the airport--just walk to check in counter.

I'd also recommend the Marriott at the airport, and using Winner Parking for your vehicle. Winner will drive you to the airport in your vehicle, then pick you up there when you return. For a small fee (I beileve $5 or $10) you can leave the airport after your return without having to drive their employee back to Winner's site. I used to use the airport's long term parking until a friend turned me on to Winner, and now I'll always use them & never park at the airport again. You might be able to find internet specials for pre-paid parking there.

Free made to order breakfast and the parking can be part of your overnight cost (up to 14 days) if you chose
