We are not going until November of next year, so I am in the early planning stages. I have pretty much planned out our ADR's for most of the trip, but I am in need of suggestions for one more dinner and one more breakfast. A few tidbits of info before you decide: We are staying at SOG and will not have a car. The players are, me-33, DH-37, DD4, DM52, DF52 and DBro 30. My dad and brother are both big eaters and like meat and potatoes. My mom eats like a bird and is very picky. My DD needs to be entertained and is also picky. We will be there for 10 days and here is what I have so far. We usually only reserve one TS ADR per day and do breakfast in our room and lunch is CS. We are not on the dining plan.

Day 1-Thanksgiving at the Fort (Mickey's Backyard BBQ) (no parks)
Day 2- O'hana's dinner (AK)
Day 3- Chef Mickey's breakfast, Rainforest Cafe dinner (DD)
Day 4- Biergarten dinner (EP)
Day 5- Crystal Palace dinner (MK)
Day 6- Sci Fi lunch (DS)
Day 7- Princess Tea Party- OPEN DINNER (NEED SUGGESTIONS) (no parks)
Day 8- Akershus Princess dinner (DS am, EP pm)
Day 9- MVMCP-LTT Dinner (MK)
DAy 10- NEED LAST DAY BREAKFAST SUGGESTION (no parks)

So I need suggestions for a dinner on Day 7-outside of the parks and a breakfast for our last day- outside of the parks. Please feel free to let me know what you think of what I have chosen so far. TIA!! :earsgirl:

What about another DD restaurant for the dinner? That way you can see how things are going after your princess tea in terms of hunger and/or wanting perhaps a nice CS rather than a TS meal again that day. We are doing DD for dinner the day we have the CRT breakfast because I'm just not sure how hungry we'll be and at what time....

For the breakfast I hear so much about the Kona Cafe (in the Polynesian). We have our last day breakfast scheduled at O'Hana (but you will have already eaten there) because I thought my kids would enjoy riding the monorail again and we will have flexibility to let them pick a park for our last morning.

On the dinner, you could try California Grill at CR. If you time it right, you could see the fireworks.

On the breakfast, we have started a tradition of O'hana to have our last visit with Mickey before we pile into the car and head back for home. A recent change of characters has put Lilo & Stitch at this breakfast as well which is a plus for us as my DDs and DS have been watching the series on Disney channel. I'll miss Chip and Dale and the parade around the restaurant, but I think my children will appreciate the new cast.

As a previous poster mentioned, Kona Cafe is also a good option. We've stayed at the Poly our last two trips, so were able to experience breakfast there as well. The tonga toast is quite tasty.

Hope this helps, and have a good trip! We're almost at the one-month count down for our next trip, and I can't wait.

Boma is at AK Lodge, and is excellant. If you did go to Boma, you could switch it to day two, your AK day, and do Ohana on day 7, that would require less bus time.

My suggestions for a fun delicious breakfast outsife the parks:

w/characters: 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian

w/o characters: Boma at AKL
