We're checking into Wyndham Palms on Sat 11/22 and checking out on Tues 11/25, so we'll only have Sun and Mon to go to the parks. We've decided to go to MK and AK, but can't decide in which order to do them. This is the beginning of Thanksgiving week and the parade and fireworks schedules are the same for both days.

I know the EMH for the MK is on Sun, and the EMH for the AK is on Mon. I've heard that the parks are generally more crowded on their EMH days and should be avoided by those that are staying off-site. BUT I've also heard that Mondays are the most crowded at MK. So I'm torn.

Crowd-wise, which of these schedules would be our best bet???

Sunday - AK, character dinner at 1900 or Chef Mickey's.
Monday - MK all day.

OR/

Sunday - MK all day.
Monday - AK, then character dinner at 1900 or Chef Mickey's.

(btw, our daughter will be celebrating her 5th birthday on Sun)

Dilemmas. :earsboy:

We were at WDW last Thanksgiving week and the parks were empty the weekend before until Thanksgiving day. We always avoid EMH, I don't thinkyou would have a problem with AK on Sun. and MK on Mon at that time of year.

Dear Marie2794 ,
You can't go wrong either way , but since you are not staying at a Disney resort I think you would probably be a little better off going to AK on Sun. and MK on Mon. . The week leading up to Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the slowest weeks of the year at WDW so you shouldn't encounter many , if any , lengthy waits for any attraction at either park .
Good luck and have a great trip !
