What is going on an airplane like anything I need to know?
Get to the airport very early. This means anywhere from two to four hours before the plane is actually set to depart. You will need to check in at your airline. Be careful not to get lost, here. Don't go looking around or be attracted to stores and restaurants. Get to your plane's area and wait until it's time to fly.
Getting through airport security can be difficult. Anything with metal will set off the alarm. Some shoes have metal in them and it's advisable to take them off. Don't have money in coin on you going through the detector. Take your belt off your pants; until, you get through the detector. You can put all your stuff in bins. These bins go through x-ray machines and so does your carry on luggage. Watch as others go through the detector; so, you know what to expect. If you don't pass through the detector, you may have to go through a special search which is not fun. Your carry on luggage is subject to be opened if security needs to see it.
Get to your plane's waiting area. Listen to all the announcements about your plane. Wear a watch and be ready to board a half hour before your flight time.
Use a restroom in the airport just before you go on the airplane. It's difficult to use the airplane's toilet. I would try to stay seated for the whole trip. The plane is flying and you can have turns and turbelence and you don't want to try and walk down the aisle while this is going on. You will be offered a drink on most flights. You need to use a seat belt in your seat for liftoff and landing and sometimes if there's bad turbelence you will be asked to wear your seat belt. You cannot walk anywhere on the plane when the plane is in seat belt mode.
Be prepared for a lot of walking. Some people go over 10 miles a day in a park. The Disney parks are huge. There are park maps to follow (get them near the entrances to the parks) and there are Cast Members (CM for short) with badges and Disney uniforms on if you need to ask for directions and such. Look up for signs to show you how to exit the park. Look at the entrance very carefully; because, this is your exit, too.
Ask another question and maybe we can do this a question at a time.
