My husband's co-workers sent around a card and they each put some money in it for our new son, and I can't come up with anything that sounds good for the thank you note. I don't know how to address it or what to really say even, please help! Thanks!!!

Well, thank them for their generous gift. You don't have to mention money -- they all know it was cash. Second, let them know how you're using the money (college fund, etc.) and how you appreciate their kindness and generousity. Close by saying you look forward to thanking them in person when you stop by with the baby.

PS -- congrats on the new bundle of joy!!!!!!

Exactly what I would say. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies. Any thoughts on how to address it since it is to several people?

I would say "Thank you all so much for the generous gift. DH is so lucky to have such thoughtful co-workers! We have a great start on Baby's college fund thanks to you. Thanks again, the XXX family."

I would just address it to "dear all" or something along those lines (if there are too many people to list in the intro, or if you don't have all the names."

I had the same issue a few years ago. My DH works for Blue Cross/Blue Shield & I addressed the card:

To our friends at Blue Cross,

Yada, yada, yada.....

BTW, congratulations on your new precious baby!
