Well, here I go ...
I need some help and/or advice on waht to do about my situation. Fisrt off, I booked two rooms at POR using my points (yes, yes, I know. Why use more points on a standard room than less points on a villa? The DVC reservationist already made fun of me, but we have our reasons.) Because of the limited amount of points we had, we extended our stay with a cash reservation through DC. My first problem is that, due to the point we had to spend the two rooms are booked for different amounts of nights under each reservation, such as follows:
Room #1 - 5 nights DVC/2 nights DC
Room #2 - 4 nights DVC/3 nights DC
Since the reservations for for different amounts of nights, we basically have 4 different reservations. I don't want to have to switch rooms midway through our stay, mostly because we'd be switching rooms on different nights, and God knows where we would end up. Is there a way to link these rooms together to avoid all this.
Our ideal situation would be to have the same two rooms, reasonably close together (if not next door to each other) that we can stay in for all seven nights. The nights booked are
December 1 - 7, if that makes any difference.
I hope that this is not too convoluted to understand, but I am beginning to worry that it is going to end up a big mess. Please help!
Thanks to all for your help!
