We are taking our 1st trip to wdw to celebrate dd's 5th bday. I need ideas for a tshirt for her to let eveyone know it is her special day. Please post ideas, quotes for the shirt and pictures.
I am not creative and i have search and cannot think of anything

The Disney catalog website has a special bday princess shirt you can personalize, too.

The shirts I ordered from Zazzle last year are already **really** faded. We can't wear them anywhere but around the house they're so bad. Our Disney catalog shirts we bought two years ago are still great. YMMV.

I ordered the personalized printed t-shirts from disneydirect.com (with BELLA'S FIRST TRIP TO WALT DISNEY WORLD JUNE 4-8, 2005 on it) –– they didn't have an XXS (DD is big 22 mos.) so I bought the XS. It was too big (looked like a night shirt) so I rinsed it in hot water and dried it in the dryer on high heat. Worked pretty well, held its color and looks cute with denim shorts! She wants to wear "Mitty Mouse" all the time now, and we haven't even left yet!

Funny you should ask: I just made an iron-on transfer for my DD's 5th birthday! I'll try to size the image down and post it here, but until then, let me describe it. It has the Happiest Celebration on Earth rendering of Cinderella's Castle (the drawing with the fireworks) with the Fab 5 characters posed in front. Underneath, it says, "Celebrating my 5th birthday with a few friends" in the Disney script font with "5th birthday" in the Minnie (cartoon-like) font. And of course, the text is pink (the same pink as Minnie's bow in the picture).

Now I'm about to take the plunge and actually iron it on. I posted on the Crafts board about my dilemma: I just realized her shirt is 96% cotton and 4% spandex. Think the spandex will melt and ruin the shirt and/or my iron? I'm a little nervous!

I would love to see the shirt, please post ASAP!!! Thank You!!!!!!!:cool1:  :Pinkbounc

It is my dd3's birthday (few days after our wdw trip)! I am planning on a couple of special things for her. One is the "birthday button", the other is the t-shirt. I also want to do a "DiAngelis Family 2005" t-shirt...I'll make the transfers and will give to respective family members to "iron on".

Can't wait to see yours!! :cool1:

I have a Disney print shop program and made a birthday shirt for my son. I just wrote "Today is my 4th Birthday" and included a picture of Goofy with a soccer ball. It was easy to make and I just used a cotton Hanes t-shirt I got at the craft store for $2.99. Don't forget to reverse the image before you print it on transfer paper!

I downloaded the art from 2 different web sites and the fonts from 2 others and then resized and pasted into Photoshop. I didn't save any of the URLs, but I'll see if I can find them again.

Or, since I need to pay a DIS Board favor forward, I'll be happy to make your changes to my file, print it onto transfer paper, and send it your way. PM me if you're interested.
