Need help with trying to hold down gas prices??

Yep, the cheapest in Portland is $1.98. Most of the gas stations are at about 2.08 or so.

Two years ago my DH sold his Ford F250 because we were given a free Hyundai Accent and we really needed to pay off some bills...although he rolls his eyes about driving the Hyundai, boy does it help with the gas bills now! It would probably cost him $70 to fill up that truck every week! EEP!

Yesterday as I pulled into the gas station they were raising the price from 1.809 to 1.839. I was the last customer to get it at the lower price. I started the pump before they could change it. I am wondering where it is going to end. And, why is the price going up so much so fast? We are planning on a budget trip to Hershey Park but it won't be so budget if the gas prices keep going up.
