Can some of you WDW veterans give me some advice plz! I will be leaving for my WDW trip on June 21st and I am not a mother but I am taking my 3 Godchildren with me. There are 2 girls age 12 and 4 and 1 boy age 11. I am also dragging my mom with me to help me out. I feel every child should have a chance to go to Disney at least once so I am taking it upon myself to take them. The Last time I went to Disney was in 1997 and I was on my way to high school. So it has been awhile and a lot has changed. We are staying a week and on the day that we are departing I booked a ADR for breakfast @ Chef Mickey's. Just in casr we don't get to see all of the main characters while at the parks. Now we are staying off site and I was wondering which is the best way to get to Chef Mickey's? Should we drive straight there or should we go to the TTC and park? Our reservations are at 7:35 am so I'm not sure if the resort transportation even run that early for people off site. Does anyone know if we drive straight there do we still have to pay to park how does all that work? Also if you are staying off site can you visit other onsite hotels to just look around or do you have to have the key to the world to go in them if you are not going in to eat? One day i want to stay onsite and I would love to see what the different resorts look like on the inside.
Thank U!

There are two options:
#1: Drive to Contemporary and park there for the meal. This would require moving your car to the main TTC lot afterwards
#2: Park at the TTC lot and take the monorail around (use the resort one) to the contemporary. This will take a little extra time, and I'm not sure when the resort monorails start running (though, I would assume early enough for early ADRs)
Either way, while you're at the MK you'll have to be parked at the TTC (and thus paying the parking fee)

Yes, as mentioned, you will have to pay to park for the MK portion. CR will not charge you to park (unless valet), but you are only allowed to park there for a couple hours.

This is more than ok, it's encouraged :). Other than BLT, you are free to roam the grounds of any resort you wish. The use of the pools is restricted to resort guests only, but restaurants, shops, food courts, and other amenities are open to all. (This includes things such as arcades and marinas too).

Enjoy the trip

I believe OP said they were not planning on going to MK that day.

So, if you drive directly to the Contemporary, you can park there for free for a couple of hours. Just tell them at the gate to the resort that you are there for Chef Mickey's and they'll tell you where to park.

they will give you a 3 hour parking pass at the Contemporary
