Ok, so we have an adult only trip planned for October and it will be 4 days in the park Oct 14-17. This will be my 6th trip to disney, 2nd time doing a TP and I need advice!! I havent been following all the happenings at Disney too close because we werent supposed to be going until June 2017 and then a trip happened!! lol We are purchasing Salute tickets at SOG so hopping isnt an extra cost and we are doing dining so I need to get this pinned down but I am so flusterated!! I came up with these choices using crowd calendars
So, this is what I first had:
Friday MK / MNSSHP
Saturday HS/maybe park hop to Epcot for Fireworks??
Sunday AK/ Hopping??
Monday Epcot/ Hop to MK to end trip with Wishes.

Part of my big issue is the unknown. I am guessing they will have SW FW in the fall but will they be every night?? Right now they arent on Saturdays. And then there are the evening activities at AK that should be up and running by October.
What do you think?? Should I just swap Saturday and Sunday to avoid hopping and save time, even though neither parks are the recommended parks for that day??
I know I am probably way over thinking this because thats what I do! lol
But we are also doing dining and I need to finalize that too.
TIA!!

Personally, I think I would skip MNSSHP or add a day to the trip, so you still have an evening for each park. I would expect the Star Wars Fireworks to continue through the fall, especially with the release of the 8th movie in December. You're also going to want some extra time in EP to enjoy the F&W booths.

If you take the party out, you could still do MK on the 14th and hop to AK for the evening.
HS all day on Sat
AK on Sun with a hop to EP for the evening
EP on Mon and hop to MK to end with Wishes

Part of the reason we are going in the fall is for MNSSHP. My son really wants to go and yes he is 29 :) I am ok with skipping the evening at Epcot if we had to. Adding a day isnt an option because one of the people going is limited to time off work.
My biggest worry is that they wont have SW FW on Saturday night. Thats why I am wondering should I just swap Saturday and Sunday and then we wouldnt be hopping all over.
I wish they didnt wait so long to release times! When you have to book dining 180 days out, its hard to plan. You can anticipate but you just never know

How about making Monday your HS day? If they don't extend the Star Wars fireworks, you can hop over to MK for Wishes. If they do, well, you will get to see Hallowishes at the party, so you won't miss MK fireworks altogether. Would ending with Star Wars be an okay compromise?

With that in mind perhaps:

Fri AK then MNSSHP
Sat EP
Sun MK an hop to AK for evening events
Mon HS

Or you could still do MK on Fri and do AK on Sun

I was trying to avoid Epcot on the weekend due to the Food and Wine Festival. Do you think it would be a huge factor??

F&W will definitely be more crowded on the weekend, so going on Monday would be better crowd wise. If you want to see Illuminations, Sunday is better than Saturday. That puts you back to your original plan. I think I would still plan on hopping that Sat to AK, so if Mon does have the Star Wars fireworks, you'll be ready for it. AK on Sunday with a hop to EP for Illuminations. That just means your Mon night is not set until you get closer to time.

I have made a decision and as long as I can get some ADR's moved around this is my plan.
Friday MK/MNSSHP
Saturday AK
Sunday HS
Monday Epcot

So I thought about it alot and after looking at park hours from last year the same weekend I decided to do AK on Saturday with the possibility of hopping to MK for Wishes. Sunday we can spend the entire day at HS and not be rushed. I am guessing we will be watching some shows as well as rides so that makes for a longer day. So Monday evening will be our back up plan. So if we dont make it to SW FW or Wishes, we can do it that evening. Not knowing the time frame for the events at AK I think this is my best bet.
Now.....to stalk ADR so I can get some things changed around...........

TP?
okay then.
I've never really had any problems locating the TP in the mens rooms and my wife has never reported any problems in that area for the ladies rooms also.
I think they have plenty of TP really.
