Need help with ticket info.

I need some help here.

I have an old Park Hopper I bought last Nov. It had "plus" days on it, but none were ever used. I have 2 days left and they don't expire.

If I convert them to MYW - Would I have to add the park hopper, plus, and no expiration options?

If I convert to an AP - can I just apply the days to the AP price? I MIGHT return again within a year.

If I just use the ticket and buy the rest of our vacation in MYW tickets (we are staying a total of 6 days in the parks - that would mean buying a 4-day ticket) = amounts to the old ticket equaling about $6 (and I paid $100 more for it).

I know there have been posts about this before, but I really don't know what to do. I'm leaning toward the AP option only b/c it looks like I'll get the full value for the days back (or almost). And then that might tempt me to return again (both good and bad )

The best usage for your old pass is for a day tripper or weekend jaunt.

I was told that, because none of the plusses were used, you can trade the remains of that pass towards an MYW ticket without getting the plus pack. And, if you did not actually park-hop with that ticket you could trade towards an MYW without hopping. Since it is more than 14 days (the lifetime of an expiring MYW pass) from first usage of the hopper, you must get non-expiration if you trade that hopper.

But the ticket agent at Guest Relations might not do things quite right and insist that you buy the plus pack for your trade up.

The worst usage is to use the old hopper as-is and also buy an MYW (with three to nine days) to finish the vacation with.
