Ok so Milliepie did an amazing job of creating name fills for exxactly what I wanted. Thank you Milliepie!!

But.....I do not know what to do next. I downloaded them and they are very large...do you print and piece them together or do you make them smaller?

I am so lost. BTW...I also feel a bit dumb not being able to figure this out...lol.

Thank you in advance for your help!

You will want to resize them to be the size you wish for your shirt.

Like a design for an adult XL would certainly not be the same size as a 2T. I normally print them on regular paper in draft mode (to not waste so much ink) and then place on the shirt to see if it is the right size to 'my eye'.

I hope this helps!

Ok great thanks!! Do you just copy and paste it into a word doc and resize there? I can't seem to make it too big because it falls off the page.

I do all of mine in Photoshop Elements so I am not 100% sure but this should help... You will want to save the image to your computer, then pull it up in whatever software you are using and then resize. If you still need help after reading this thread, feel free to post again with any questions and hopefully one (of the many of us here) can be of help.

I also use Photo Shop Elements, but have resized and added names in microsoft word. In word you would click on insert, then picture, and then find it where ever you have it saved. After it opens it is easier to move around and resize if you right click on the picture - then on text wrapping - then on In front of text. This is for the newer version of word. I think in the older versons when you right click on the picture you would then click on format picture and then find Bring to the front.

I also have a question about using iron on transfers. Last year we went to Disney at Easter and I made shirts for four people for all seven days. I used a brand of transfers purchased from Michaels called Transfermations. Well they did not wash very good and all of the shirts ended up either being thrown away or used to do yard work. Well I am preparing to make more shirts for an upcoming trip and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of a better brand of transfer?
