I am planning an at home disney themed wedding, I am great with disney music but when it comes to my wedding I am drawing a mind blank in 2 areas... what is a good song for bridesmaids to walk in to and a good exit song? My other music I have picked out already.

There are lots of good Disney songs to use. Are there any movies that were of particular importance to you?

I have my bridesmaids coming down the aisle to Simple and Clean from Kingdom Hearts. Reason being I'm a huge gamer (along with my honey) and I adore the melody. Plus it has a great atmospheric opening sequence to set the mood.

My entrance is to the song So Close from Enchanted just because I absolutely love that song and is one of my favorite movies!

Our exit song is We Belong Together from Toy Story 3. It was the first movie we ever saw in theaters as a couple and it just has a super fun beat to set up the mood for fun at the reception!

I hope that helps inspire you!

My MOH and FG walked in to Bibbidi bobbidi boo. For the recessional, DH and I walked to Married life from Up.

Our bridesmaids and best men walked to "Once Upon a Dream."

Our exit song was "Beauty and the Beast"-first Disney movie my DH and I watched together when we were dating.

The parents are all walking in to "When You Wish Upon A Star." The men and my groom are walking in to "Some Day My Prince Will Come." Then, my bridesmaids and me are walking in to "He'll Make Me Happy" (it's from The Muppets Take Manhattan when Kermit and Miss Piggy get married). And we are walking out to the Mickey Mouse March!!! :-)

My stepdaughter is walking in to "That's how you Know" from Enchanted. We're exiting to "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" from the Carousel of Progress.

I love the exit song!!! perfect sentiment!

To the OP - I would suggest thinking about your bridesmaids (for instance), and thinking about Disney movies and attractions, and see who you think of. Are your bridesmaids rebellious, perhaps, Mulan or Little mermaid. Are they adventureous, perhaps Pocohontas. What ever you decide, good luck. And congratulations!

Our wedding was a mix of Disney music and other songs that were meaningful to us. My bridesmaids came in to "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella, because I thought it was girly and pretty. We exited to "Beautiful Day" by U2 because it is a favorite song of ours, and I wanted something a little more fun and untraditional at the end of our otherwise very traditional ceremony. Other Disney music we used included "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty for the lighting of the unity candle and "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio for the seating of parents/family.

Thank you all soo much those are really great suggestions, I totally forgot about toy story 3 and up along with some classics. I know our first dance song is from tangled I see the light. I am walking in to when you wish upon a star, I have 2 soon to be stap daughtors, and I think bipiddy boppidy boo is a great idea. As for my bridesmaids... I have a lot of family in my bridal party and there are a variety of ages so I dont know and I will take every and any suggestion..I have some research to do now :0)

We are using I See the Light for our first dance too! Tangled was the first movie we went to see in a theatre together. :-) :-)

Emily-that is awesome.. its our favorite movie too. However its the second disney movie we saw in theaters together, the first was princess and the frog.

When I think of "pretty" Disney songs, here are some of my favorites (maybe as filler....):

"Feed the Birds" (one of Walt's personal favorites) (Mary Poppins)
"Little April Showers" (Bambi)
"Soaring" (from the ride)
"Candle on the Water" (Pete's Dragon)
"Be our Guest" (Beauty and the Beast)
"Bella Notte" (Lady and the Tramp)
"Can you feel the Love tonight" (Lion King)

So many others. Check out SubsonicRadio.com and see if you are inspired. Also a great place to hear other versions of the songs.

Congrats!!!
