Need help with room.

My family and I are new DVC members and we need some help with room choices. We are taking the whole family (brothers, grandparents, great-grandparents) and we are booking a Grand Villa. Our question is which house Jambo or Kidani? I haven't been to the lodges before.

Since you state grand parents and great grandparents are going, then maybe the layout of the grand villas and everyone's mobility status needs to be taken into consideration. The grand villas at Jambo is all on the same level like a ranch-style home, while the ones at Kidani are two-stories. Kidani does have access to the second floor from the hallway, but you need to use stairs to go down to the main floor (or exit the second floor, go to the elevator, go down a floor and enter the room from that floor). The main floor has the master bedroom and sofa sleeper. The upstairs has the two bedrooms with two queen beds in each. If some in your party can not do stairs too well, then you should look into the Jambo house grand villa and everyone be on the same level.

I would try for jambo house first. the mara is also at jambo , this will be easier to the grand parents and the great grandparents.

Another reason for Jambo is Lobby for Grandparents and Great GP's to explore and also resturants shops, and quick service with less walking.

I would also look at sleeping arrangements and see if 2 two bedrooms would suit your needs better.
