i booked my vacation back in Dec/Jan when AP rates came out. I booked WL May 6 to 11 with AP rate, then BRV May 11 to 17 on points, then WL May 17 to 21. I wait listed May 9 and 10, and May 17 to 19. Today, it was confirmed that May 17 to 19 came and they took the points and added the day to my ressies. Everything is okay! Until!!! I call and ask to cut down the two days on WL ressies and just leave it for May 19 to 21. Hope that all makes sense.
The problem is, the room I have is available for May 17 to 21 still, but not available for May 19 to 21 on the AP, actually it is not available at all she said. How can that be, she said the whole hotel is not available at all for the 19 to 21, so she is unable to cut my ressies down to just to days. She had to send my ressies over to the lodge and see if they can do it, and it will take several days to get back. Should I try and book another room somewhere else, I already lost my points so I will keep the DVC ressies, but I don't want to pay for two nights I won't be there, and there is no room even under a regular rate, so I'm not sure what to do. We are still more than 90 days out, what should I do.
