Hi All! We are taking my 84 yr young Mom to Orlando on Nov. 12th. We will be bringing her transport chair but need a place to rent a walker for use in the house we rented. I am seeing everything BUT walkers for rent. Would anyone know a reputable place to rent one from?:)

You can get a walker from Care Medical:
http://www.caremedicalequipment.com/
Phone (407) 856-2273 • Toll Free U.S and Canada (800) 741-2282
Care is a full Service Medical Company. They rent ECVs, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs (for guests who are familiar with and use one at home), walkers, companion chairs, strollers, special needs strollers, bath equipment, comodes, beds, among other things.

I've rented from Care Medical several times. I rented a walker with the wheels on the front legs. Unlike the walker I had at home this walker did not have glides on the rear legs which made walking fluidly difficult. If your DM is used to easily pushing the walker you might want to bring glides or the ever popular tennis balls.

If she already uses a walker at home, why not bring that one with you? If it is because you are flying, it will travel for free just like the wheelchair.
