Need help with PM'ing other members please

I am brand new somewhat to this board, so maybe thats the issue, but I seem to have zero ability to PM another member, and need to do so regarding renting DVC points, obviously I can't publicly post my email or phone number in a post, but I have no idea how to be able to communicate with someone who is offering their points for rent to do so! Am I unable to because of being a new user? am I just missing where/how to do so? no amount of hovering over a name, or searching their profile, is helping. I've now said it twice in my comments about a stay i'm trying to book, but no one has offered any advice about it. Can someone help me with this? (i've posted 17 replies to comments since May, so i've surpassed the 10 comment mark)

You can't send Private Messages (called "Conversations" here) until you've posted at least 10 times after joining DISboards.

Posts on the DVC boards don't count.

ok thanks for your reply... Interesting challenge then…how does one new to the Disboards do a transaction originating from the DVC board, when the only permitted interaction is done in a publicly viewed conversation. How does that work?

Don't know, I don't do DVC.

But, it's easy enough to up your post count. You can visit the Test board
https://www.disboards.com/forums/test-board.88/
and post on one of the threads there to up your count. Or visit any of the other DISboard forums and participate in one of those threads.

When you reach the 10 posts (on other than DVC boards), it takes about 30 minutes or so for the system to recognize you've reached that milestone and add the "Start Conversation" option to your account.
