We are currently early on in the planning stages for our trip to DW in 2009. We are looking at 2 possible weeks, March 6-13 or August 8-14. We saw that disney is offering some really nice incentives for traveling in the spring; our concern however is the crowds since this will be during peak season. We were wondering if anyone has traveled during these times, and how bad the crowds are? Our last visit to the world was from July 30-August 3 of 2007, and our only real complaint was the heat and the short thunderstorms that happened almost daily (which we did not really mind at all). So....my question to everyone is whether or not there will be a noticable difference in crowds during early March vs. early August.
Thanks everyone!!

No doubt about it ... go in March. The weather will be much cooler. Right now they are offering a great package but I think the Value resorts are going quick ... not sure about the others. 3 nights free + $200 gift card.

I'd book your March trip NOW before all the rooms for the package are taken and then you can always change it if you decide to go in August. I believe you will get a 100% refund if you need to cancel outside of 45 days of the visit (i.e. mid-January). You will only need a $200 deposit to make the booking.

Go in March! At that time, the crowds shouldn't be too bad.
