We will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, and we want to do a character breakfast at Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast over at the Polynesian, and then go to the MK after breakfast. What is the best way to get to the Polynesian and if the park opens at 9:00 AM, what time would you recommend for the Character Breakfast to enjoy both the breakfast and the park for the day (Saturday)

Thx, Bill

I think your easiest way to transport would be to take a bus to MK and then the Monorail to Poly. If you want to make RD, I would make your reservation for 7:30.

I suggest taking a cab from POFQ to the Poly. If you want to be at the MK for rope drop PLUS spend time with the characters at 'Ohana, then you'll want a 7:30 ressie. It will take time to eat, and then you'll need to catch the boat over to MK.

Another option would be for you to take a bus to MK and take the boat to Poly...but its so time consuming. I'm not sure buses would leave early enough for you to make it by 7:30, so you'd need a later time...and wouldn't make rope drop.

You will be fine taking a bus, I have a picture of my DH and I on a bus at 6:59AM on September 29(I took a picture of the time on the sign on the bus), we had an 8:00 am breakfast at Ohana and they dropped us off right at the poly if you ask the bus driver. Buses start running at 7:00am for resort guests to get to early ADRs.

we have done both, and there both equally ok. We do the cab just because we do not need to feguire In much travel time, but that Is us.

I couldn't decide whether to get a very early breakfast or a very late on at Ohana. I went with the late one and plan to take the MK bus, then the boat to WL.

Had I gone with the early one, I would have taken a taxi.

Buses begin running around 6:30 am. If you ask the driver nicely, he will probably drop you off at the Poly. If not, you can get off at MK and ride the monorail to the Poly. I would plan on a 7:30 adr in order to make it to rope drop.
