need help with my Christmas trip

This will be our first Christmas trip to WDW!!

We have AP's so what we would like to do is only do / see the Christmas stuff. We have tickets to the MVMCP but what other events happen only at Christmas?

In the parks off the top of my head...there are the Santas in Epcot WS, the tree lighting ceremonies and the Osborne lights in MGM...all great and worth the time to see.

Looks like you are getting away for Mardi Gras too!

Do you know if they change or do anything different to any of the attractions or shows? I haven't done much (any) research but I am assuming the parades will all be Christmas themed??

I really need to buckle down and do some "studying"! I am trying to eBay to a cash trip so I've been spending all my time listing

Hello from a former cajun...I will be visiting family in Lafayette for New Years!!! Anyway, we are planning WDW for next Christmas. Some shows, like Country Bears, do change for the season. Also, on the Disney website, they have a listing of all of the special parades. They are changed for Christmas. The ending of Illuminations is suppoed to be different too I think. Something else they do is the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT! They have a celebrity guest speaker tell the story of Christmas and a (large) choir comprised of adults and children sing traditional christmas music. It is cool. The MVMCP is the best though! You should take a tour of all of the resorts/hotels and check out their decorations! They are all different as they are decorated to suit their theme. They do some special Xmas shows at MK and MGM. I think they do a Christmas Beauty & the Beast show in front of the Chinese Theater. Of course there is all the different Christmas parades. You should get on;

Just walking around and looking at all the wonderful Christmas decorations is worth the trip!!!
