Hello everyone....
I'm new to this board, I usually hang out on the CB and Scrapbooking forums. But looks like I might have found new one.
I am trying to finally finish landscaping that I started a LONG time ago. Last fall I planted several mum plants around my house. (Love the color in the fall!) I'm in Michigan, forgot that fact!
Anyway, for the fall I just trimmed them down and left them. That's what I was told to do. Well now I see new growth with the ones in the front of the house, but nothing with the ones in the back and side yards. Does that mean I killed the poor things? 
If so, how do you properly take care of these plants? I do not have a "green thumb", so maybe these are out of my league.
If you have any secrets/tips you would like to share, I would love it.
